Due to high water, we were unable to dock in Paris as planned, docking instead in the affluent community of Le Pecq, located 12 miles west of Paris, at the foot of the chateau of Saint-Germain-en-Laye.
Viking shuttled us all to our respective destinations.
We were signed up for a 3 night extension in Paris where Viking had booked us into The Pullman Hotel at the base of The Eiffel Tower.
The Pullman is a little bigger and sleeker than what we would have chosen ourselves, but it was fine. Not as charming as a smaller boutique hotel would be.
After getting checked in we went out to explore and grab a bite to eat - this pizza was darn good!
