I got what I wanted - loving memories of family and friends (and some extra hugs from my almost 2 year old great-niece!). Hope that your Christmas was wonderful and that the new year will be even better.

We're in Birmingham, Al, and its about 70 degrees here. Not nearly that warm back in Boone.

I collected some hugs from precious nephews last night. (We're in Birmingham, AL celebrating the holidays with Donald's family now). But they're a bit older than your sweet niece. Harrison is a senior in High School, the twins - Matt & Ryan are college seniors. Ol' Miss and Alabama. One is a Poly Sci major (off to DC next week to do his internship), and the other in in nursing. I took about a beezillion pictures last night, and as soon as we get back to Boone, I'll post a couple.
