It's almost time for Santa to come
I'm pretty sure he'll be back this year 'cause he left his shoe last time he was here.
The house is decorated
and the packages are wrapped and under the tree
The table is even set
Today was the day to make some candy.
White Chocolate/Lemon Bark.
mmm mmm good.
I'm embarrassed to tell you how easy this is to make.
Look for Log House Vanilla Flavored White Chocolate CandiQuik in the baking section of your grocery store. It comes in its own "make and melt" microwavable tray.
I use bags of whatever lemon drop candy I can find - this year it just happened to be Brach's.
I use a hammer to smash the lemon drops (this is the hardest part!) and then drop the pieces into a bowl. I used one bag of the Brach's Lemon Drops to two trays of the CandiQuik.
After you've smashed up your lemon drops, heat up the CandiQuik according to the directions on the package. Pour the CandiQuik (2 trays) into the bowl of lemon drops and stir till all your lemon is coated.
Pour the mixture out onto either wax paper or parchment paper on a cookie sheet and spread it to the edges.
Let it sit until it hardens and you can break it into pieces.
VoilĂ !
Enjoy!
