Amsterdam Through the Eyes of Don Barley

Donald fell head over heels in love with Amsterdam.

He's such a fabulous photographer, and has an excellent eye.

He seeks out and finds detail that a lot of us just don't catch.

Navigating the hotel stairs was a wee bit tricky for a gal with a wonky hip.  (yes, there was a elevator - the teeniest little bitty elevator you have ever seen.  We giggled every time we got in it).

Because Donald and I are both lovers of old architecture and unique architectural detail, Amsterdam was a bit of heaven, but most especially for Donald.  

He took some time off on his own to photograph the city and got some incredible shots with his eye for detail.

I have a feeling Amsterdam is not quite finished with us yet . . .
