Goodbye Paris

Time to go home.

It was a wonderful trip.

Honestly, the best trip ever.


We're ready, I think, to get back home now.


Sleep in our own bed, bathe and shower in our own bathtubs, drink our own coffee, be lazy for awhile, and snuggle with our Annabelle.

Many thanks to Melissa and her wonderful staff at  Woof Pack Pet Services for taking such good care of her, sending updates and pictures.  It's the only place we'd ever consider leaving her, truth be told.  There's never one minute's worry about her while she's there.

As happens, I think, while you're traveling, you find one neighborhood restaurant that you know you can count on for good service, good food, and a drink.

That's where we headed for our final dinner before heading back to our room to pack.

What day Is it?! Where is my dog?!

Life is so confusing when you're retired.

You - okay, I will change this to "I" - I never know what day it is for one thing.

Take today for instance.

It's Friday, right?

Then WHERE is Annabelle?

I have gotten up and walked through the house, opened the back door and yelled "Annabelle!" a half a dozen times today.



She's at Woof Pack for play day.



She usually goes on Tuesdays, so that's the day I usually get up and walk through the house and open the back door and yell "Annabelle!" a half a dozen times.

So today's been a doubly confusing day.  It's Friday, not Tuesday, but I still can't find my dog.

But.

Thank Goodness!  It's time to go pick her up.  Tonight will be a whole lot less stressful than today.  I may not know what day it is, but at least I'll know where my dog is . . .

Thursday - Puppy Kindergarten!

Thursday evenings are Puppy Kindergarten evenings.

But before kindergarten, we always need to pop into The Pet Place to say "hey!" to friends and buy a few treats.

Tonight we had a fun visit with friends Darcy & Vera Kwong and their cute mom, Amber Dollyhigh Kwong.

You never know who you might run into here!
