Grateful. Blessed. and humbled.

We're in that particular time of the year when many of us spend a little time reflecting on things we're thankful for.

It's hard, sometimes, to focus on the small things that join together encircling us in a life that is, for most of us, a very good life.

We're not fleeing our homes.

We're not being made to feel as though we have no country to call our own.

And we're not being turned away at the borders of other countries apparently too full to allow us in.

We're not the people that some exceedingly ignorant people are blaming for atrocious acts against innocents in Paris.

We're thankful.  Grateful.  Blessed.  and humbled.
